College Makeup Routine

This one has been in my drafts for awhile, an updated makeup routine of what I have been using in college. I don’t wear makeup every day or for every class, but when I need an extra pick me up I like to throw some on. Here’s my current routine for college.

I start off using an eye cream. My current one is from Nuria.

Next I go on to foundation. I use the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50 in shade medium. I have been using this cc cream for three years now. It provides light to medium coverage and is moisturizing. Plus it has SPF 50 which is always a plus.

I follow that up by using bronzer as a crease color. I switch between a few different ones, including the shades in the NYX Contour Palette. I’ve been using this palette for years and should probably get a new one, but I can’t part with it long enough to do so.

I go in with the Tarte Maneater mascara after that. I do one coat before I move on to filling in my brows.

For my brows I use the Smashbox Brow Tech Matte Pencil in the shade Dark Brown. I then go in with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel.

I go in with another coat of mascara after my brows. This gives the first one enough time to dry an prevents clumps.

I finish everything off with a coat of lip balm. I like the akar skin lip restoration in pure and the Pat McGrath Labs Lip Fetish Lip Balm in the clear shade.

This all results in a very natural makeup look with enough coverage to make me feel confident and put together.
